How do you avoid the usual custom software disasters?
Two things. A paid discovery sprint that produces a real specification before anyone commits to a price, and sprint-based delivery so you see working software every two weeks instead of waiting six months for a surprise.
Is the discovery fee wasted if we do not proceed?
No. You keep the requirement documentation, wireframes and architecture, and can take them to any developer. If you proceed with us, the fee is credited against the build.
Will you tell us if we should buy instead of build?
Yes. If an existing product covers most of your process, implementing that is usually the better decision and we will say so — we can implement it for you and build only the gap.
Do we own everything?
